Change Management

InnoInco’s outsourcing change management addresses specifically targeted audiences through the proper communication channels, with tailored messages, and timing. The change management planning is also addresses and most likely changes compensation and incentive plans during the interim transitional period. In addition, the change management assesses and addresses roles, responsibilities, resource skills, training requirements, and so on. All these elements is presented to effectively minimize the inevitable resistance risks to outsourcing.

Below is a brief summary of our change management process:

All changes during software development process are controlled using standard change management procedure that includes the following activities:
  • E-mail Change request registration and review
  • Change impact analysis
  • Change approval by change control board (representatives from customer and InnoInco sides)
  • Change implementation
  • Change verification and closure
  • Change monitoring and control

The implementation of InnoInco change management process ensures that:
  • All decisions regarding change implementation are taken based on analysis of the impact of each suggested change onto developed system and project goals
  • All information regarding the changes made and their impact is clearly communicated and documented
  • Only approved changes are implemented
As a rule, we have a special Change Management chapter in our service contracts with customers. Usually adding changes to the agreed project scope is charged according to the agreed hourly/daily rates in case of fixed price projects, or amendments to the project plan are agreed in case of Offshore Dedicated Groups (ODC). Customer-suggested change management regulations can also be discussed.<
